Niory ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Niory Dashboard, a marketing management tool that lets users connect their own social media accounts to create, schedule, and publish content, and to view performance analytics. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our dashboard, including when you connect a TikTok account.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using the dashboard, including:

Account credentials (email address and password)
Social media account tokens when you connect platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Content you create or upload (posts, videos, images, captions)
Basic profile information returned by connected platforms (such as display name and avatar) so we can show you which account is connected

2. How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used solely to operate the Niory Dashboard and to publish content to connected social media accounts on your behalf, at your direction. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. TikTok Data

When you connect a TikTok account via Login Kit, we request only the permissions necessary to authenticate you and publish content you choose to upload:

user.info.basic — to display your TikTok display name and avatar within the dashboard, so you can confirm which account is connected
video.upload — to upload a video you select to your TikTok account as a draft, for you to review and finish posting inside TikTok
video.publish — to publish a video you select directly to your TikTok account, at your explicit request

We never post to your TikTok account without you initiating the action inside the dashboard. You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time, which deletes the stored access token.

4. Facebook and Instagram Data

When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account, we store an access token to allow publishing on your behalf. We request only the permissions necessary to post content (pages_manage_posts, instagram_content_publish). You can disconnect your account at any time from within the dashboard, which will delete the stored token.

5. Data Storage

All data is stored on our servers. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the public. We do not transfer your data outside the server infrastructure used to operate this dashboard.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including password hashing, encrypted credential storage, and HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
